Like I said, if season 8's "Meet the OddParents" was the series finale of the Fairly OddParents, it would've ended the show on a good note, despite the show going through a minor decline in seasons 7 and 8.
Sure, if "Meet the OddParents" was the series finale, we might've missed out on characters like Sparky and Chloe Carmichael, but considering how hated those characters were (even though I have a soft spot for Chloe), we wouldn't have missed much. Its A Wishful Life: The Good Version is the series finale of 'The Fairly OddParents'. There are 26 discs, with 6 or 7 episodes per disc. This DVD Box set will be released on Main honor of the series' 21 anniversary. The premise of Timmy's parents meeting his fairy godparents could've served as a great stopping point for the show, especially as a way to end its 10th anniversary celebration, as the episode aired at the tall end of 2011, back when the show still had some dignity left before going through a severe decline in seasons 9 and 10, with the latter season's finales, "Fancy Schmancy" or "The Kale Patch Caper" depending on who you ask, not feeling like proper finales and ending things on a very sour note when Nickelodeon cancelled the show after the 10th season. The Fairly OddParents: The Complete Series is a DVD filled with every single episodes of The Fairly OddParents. Personally, I think the series could've ended at "Meet the OddParents" in season 8.
